Kathrada Park erupts
Chaos erupts in Kathrada Park over housing.
Early on Sunday morning residents from Kathrada Park took to the streets.
Protesters started looting the Newclare Train Station burning and breaking into the stations offices, setting it alight.
According to residents the protest was started after the MMC of Housing, Dan Bovu made empty promises to residents about houses.
A crossfire between Newclare Station (Prasa) security guards and residents occurred in the morning and one person was killed.
Police were called in and remain in the area to try stabilise the situation.
