The rise in car theft in Pimville is alarming this is according to Kliptown police, spokesperson, Constable Thuli Ngwenya.
“Malls, shops, even outside people’s gates have become hotspots for car thefts,” she said.
She said the spike comes after a lot of cases have been reported.
“We urge residents to stop sitting in their cars late at night because they become targets,” she said.
