Three women have been allegedly raped in the past three weeks while walking on the open veld on Nicholas Road in Orlando East.
According to Orlando Police Station communications officer Nomvula Mbense the latest rape case was reported yesterday.
The woman was said to be raped while walking home from Bara Mall at 6pm.
“I advise women to walk in groups when going to Bara Mall or to take a taxi home,” she said.
Mbense added that women should avoid walking at night.
