After the death of seven people at a collapsed house in Johannesburg earlier this week, President Jacob Zuma is urging all builders and project managers to make sure they apply necessary protection measures while at work.
He also asked that construction employees and employers should comply with set building and safety regulations to help avoid any future accidents or deaths such as this one.
Zuma sent condolences to the families and friends of the victims and wished those that were injured in the incident a speedy recovery.
