On January 9 the Democratic Alliance cleaned the house of Leleki Mohajale that burnt down of New Year’s Day.
The cause of the fire is still unknown.
Electrical appliances, windows and furniture were consumed by the blaze.
No one was reported injured since the house was empty the time of the incident.
DA’s community supporting officer Noxolo Gqetywa said party members went to help with clean-up after Peo Mpepe (NGO) informed them of the incident.
Gqetywa said: “We are willing to help the family until all is well again”.
She said the family houses three children and their parents.
