A 44-year-old teacher in Mapetla has been arrested and charged with rape and has appeared at Protea Magistrate Court last Friday where he was denied bail.
“Yes I can confirm that a teacher has been arrested for allegedly raping a 10-year-old pupil in Mapetla,” said Moroka Police Station communication manager captain Mpande Khoza.
