Petrol goes up as diesel goes down

Motorists experience another hike, while diesel consumers get some relief.

As from today consumers will now pay five cents a litre more for 93 unleaded and 95 unleaded will increase by seven cents per litre.

Diesel consumers however, received some relief as they will now pay 8.8 cents less per litre.

The price increase and diesel decrease was due to repelled levy that took effect today.

The Department of Energy indicated that the petrol prices are going up due to local and international factors such as import costs, transportation costs and fuel levies.
