‘I love you, your family misses you, just come home.’

Dad begs daughter to return home after running away from home a week ago.

Lee Swales has made a humble plea for his daughter to return home as the past week has been the toughest for himself and his family.

“Your family misses you and I love you.

“Come home,” said Swales.

Raylene Swales was last seen dressed in a purple t-shirt, blue jeans and black sandals, on the evening of February 19 by her friends around 7pm in Riverlea.

“We have received news that she was in Pietermaritzburg by her friend in Riverlea.

“But when my dad (Raylene’s grandfather) went to get her, she ran away and was last seen on Sunday,” said Swales.

The family that received her when she arrived in Pietermaritzburg immediately contacted friends in Riverlea to get in touch with her family.

“She just heard my dad on the line and dropped the phone and rushed off,” said Swales.

Swales says that his daughter has had a rough year with meeting the wrong group of friends and getting into trouble.

“Raylene has been receiving help with counselling and I just want to tell her that we can deal with the problems together,” said Swales.

If anybody has information on the whereabouts of Raylene Swales please contact her father Lee Swales on 079 690 6390.
