To usher in the New Year, Ward 22 councillor, Lizzy Mabaso, donated a wheelchair and blankets to the less fortunate in Pimville.
Mabaso said it is imperative that when the opportunity presents itself, she gives back to the community.
The handover was done at a community meeting where she and her sponsors handed over the blankets and a wheelchair.
“The blankets will come in handy in winter as some residents don’t have even the bare necessities.
Mabaso said that if residents are interested in giving their can go to the councillors’ offices.
