Zone Five has been hit by too many house burglaries and residents are urged to be vigilant.
According to Tshepo Vana the Economic Freedom Fighters spokesperson for ward 22, these burglaries happen during the day when residents are at work or not at home.
“There have been many houses that have been broken into and residents need to be aware of what is happening in their own areas,” he said.
Kliptown police spokesperson Nondumiso Mpantsha said there have been cases of burglaries and she urges the community to be on the alert.
