BREAKING: Heavy storm devastates houses in Eldorado Park
Residents say blocked drains in the community are the reason for the flooding.
More than 10 homes in Eldorado Park, Extension Nine, have been flooded and damaged by the storm that hit the area just before 6pm this evening.
Residents said that they have complained about the drains in the area that have been blocked for several months.
“We have reported this matter but for months now nothing has been done and now our homes are finally affected like we all predicted,” said Fagmida Brown, a resident whose home was damaged.
