Foreign shop owners flee
Following the violence that was sparked on Monday between locals and foreigners in Soweto, foreigners have decided to pack and go.
The violence and unrest was ignited after a 15-year-old boy in Snake Park was shot to death for allegedly attempting to steal from a shop owned by a foreigner. The boy’s death has since resulted in looting and burning down of foreign-owned shops as parties clash.
