Blackout at Meadowlands Police Station
The Meadowlands Police Station faces second day without power.
The Meadowlands Police Station has been without electricity since yesterday.
The station’s administration department faces disruption as phones are engaged and reported cases need to be logged in to the system at nearby police stations.
Police spokesperson Constable Sibusiso Chauke said: “City Power attempted to solve the problem but are unable to because of a power box that requires Eskom’s technicality.”
The station is the only place that is without electricity presently and the cause thereof has not been confirmed yet.
