
The Moroka police have reported that 51 people were arrested in the Moroka policing area over the weekend for priority crimes.
According to police’s John Serala, these crimes include possession of dagga, theft, house breaking, rape, business robbery, possession of stolen goods, possession of dangerous weapons and possession of stolen motor vehicles.
Serala said: “Two motor vehicles were also recovered, of which one that was found in Midway was a car that was hijacked and reported in Roodepoort. These people arrested this past weekend will appear in court sometime this week.”
