The Moroka police are warning residents to stop opening fraudulent cases or else they will face harsh consequences.
Communications officer of Moroka police station, Constable John Serala said: “People with insured goods sometimes come to open cases claiming that their possessions have been stolen.”
“If you lie and we find out, you will be charged with perjury and you will be arrested.”
Serala said residents should respect the law.
