Bramfischerville Spar manager, Emanuel Ntaka said shoplifting has been a problem at the store for the past weeks.
Ntaka said theft has taken place in the store numerous times.
He said some people were caught in the act and some found to have hidden stolen items in their bags.
“We normally take their pictures and paste them on the shoplifters’ board at the store entrance before calling the police.
Ntaka said shoplifters need to understand that theft can lead to arrest.
“All people suspected to be thieves or found to be stealing in the store will be reported to the police,” he said.
