Victims of the fire that burnt 14 shacks in Bramfischerville Block 12 were given packs of canned foods and blankets by social workers.
People who lost their things in the fire had their names noted down for further assistance.
ANC chairperson in Ward 44, Simon Mbedzi thanked the social workers for a job well done in feeding the affected families.
“We’ll continue to help where we can and I urge residents to help us too,” said Mbedzi.
