Energy saving globes
Residents must be on the lookout for Eskom representatives who be distributing and installing energy saving globes.
Ward 30 Councillor Sechaba Khumalo said during a community meeting that residents must be aware that there will be Eskom representatives visiting homes to supply and install energy efficient globes.
“Please welcome the Eskom representatives and if you know you will not be home try to find someone who will let the representatives in your home,” said Khumalo.
The energy efficient globes reduce energy levels by 85% per globe.
