A man died and five others were rescued when a building at Power Park near the Orlando Towers collapsed in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
It is believed that theft of cables caused the building to collapse.
According to Nana Radebe, Emergency Management Services spokesperson, one of the men trapped under the rubble phoned emergency services.
“We are not ruling out the fact that there may be more people stuck under the rubble,” said Radebe.
She said specialised equipment is used by the search and rescue team.
