It is alleged that a protest broke out in Mofolo, Soweto this morning at about 5am.
According to JMPD spokesperson Wayne Minnaar, the affected roads are Vincent and Mashinini Roads.
“At this moment I cannot confirm what was the cause of the strike, but Vincent Road is still closed as there were cars that were pelted with stones. I am also not sure if any injuries have been reported, however, our officers are still at the scene,” he said.
